Islamic militant group Boko Haram released a video on Monday purportedly showing some of the remaining girls who were kidnapped from the northeast Nigerian town of Chibok in 2014 according to news agency AFP.
A group of around 12 girls are seen in the 21-minute video with at least three of them carrying babies.
“We are the Chibok girls. We are the ones you are crying about for us to come back. By the grace of Allah, we are never coming back,” one of the girls said.
The girl who appeared veiled added that they had all been married to the group’s factional leader Abubakar Shekau.
“We live in comfort. He provides us with everything. We lack nothing,” she added.
About 270 schoolgirls were kidnapped from their school in April 2014.
The video is the first since May last year.
